As a real estate expert in the Austin area, Brittney Heffernan loves serving her favorite city with her market knowledge, professionalism, and dedication to customer service. Brittney grew up in Lago Vista on Lake Travis and left home to study advertising at the University of Texas in Austin. While attending, Brittney had the opportunity to work in the service industry for a luxury hotel and developed very high standards for the level of customer service she delivers to her clients.
After working in several marketing departments for various industries, Brittney began her journey into real estate as a Sales Associate in new home sales for a local, Texas homebuilder. She worked in many different communities throughout the greater Austin-area and consequently excels at sharing her expertise in new developments and new home construction. A few years later, Brittney became the Marketing Manager for the builder’s Austin division helping to manage the brand, realtor relations, and marketing for over twenty product lines sold over various, Austin-area communities. After a successful season in marketing, Brittney decided it was time to go back to what she loves to do most and work directly with homebuyers as a licensed Texas Realtor®! She now serves as a member of Hillwood’s Wolf Ranch realtor advisory board and continues to stay actively involved in the builder industry.
As a real estate professional, Brittney works diligently to exceed her client’s expectations throughout every transaction by delivering the highest level of customer service possible. She is energetic, approachable, and readily available to make sure her clients are informed throughout the process and equipped with the right information to make the best decision possible. Outside of Brittney’s active work schedule, she enjoys running the Lady Bird Lake trail, trying out new restaurants with her husband, and spending time with friends and family. Brittney was a rock star - a true professional and an absolute go-getter. There were several "WOW" moments, but a good one was the help she gave when we were in a pinch.
Our trash company did not pick up a small trampoline that we had confirmed with them in advance that they would take in our final trash pickup while we owned the house. I didn't get to the house until 8pm on trash day to discover that they, in fact, did not take it as they had assured. I didn't have the tools to disassemble it or a vehicle I could haul it off with. The bigger problem was that I had a 6am flight the following morning and would not return until after our buyers closed on the house.
Brittney's response was, "We will get it out! Don't worry about it - you go enjoy your trip." And she did.
I just can't say enough about the customer service she provided.

We started out home buying process quite a few months before we moved from another state. We came down to Austin to do some research and Britt spent days with us showing us neighborhoods and houses. She made she we got a great feel for the area and knew what neighborhoods we could afford. She stayed in constant communication with us throughout the entire process. She was fantastic!
After Britt left, we started working with Brittney Heffernan who was amazing! This was our first time buying a home. She was thorough and made sure to help answer our questions every step of the way. She was accessible and responsive and her communication was great. Brittney is such a warm and friendly person and it felt like she truly had our best interest at heart. We cannot recommend Brittney Heffernan enough! She is smart, focused, knowledgeable, and all-around wonderful to work with. In the course of one month, she helped us simultaneously list and sell our current home, sign on a new build, and find a lease for the interim months.
On the home selling front, everyone she referred to us was wonderful: the home stagers, the window washing and cleaning companies, and the contractors who came through to complete some post-inspection asks for the buyers. We feel like the firm's marketing approach was top-notch (and far beyond anything we have experienced in the past), and we *know* that Brittney was working every angle for us. We always felt 100% confident that she had our best interests at heart and that she was making recommendations and giving feedback from a constructive, fact-based place.
On the new build side, we actually wouldn't have even looked into the builder we ended up with if she hadn't recommended it and gone and done the legwork herself. (And we would have missed out on our top choice of location because of it!) She visited with the builder several times on our behalf, scoped out lots, and handled the flurry of emails and questions she received from us with grace and ease.
She is quick to respond and makes you feel like you are chatting with a friend, but she also gets. the. job. done 🙂 I'll also just add that Brittney is Austin born and raised, so she knows ALL the people and has worked in many facets of real estate. We are so happy that she is on her team and would recommend her over and over and work with her again and again.
